Qualifications:

Previous experience working with students preferred specifically students with autism.

A minimum of 48 or more undergraduate credits and/or a paraeducator stipend is required. 

Willingness to support children in self care such as: dressing, toileting and eating.

Physical stamina to participate in all activities including education, preparation of activities and materials.

Must be available for entire 5 week program and available for possible training dates.

Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.

ABA training preferred.

 

Description:

The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community.  Position and job duties will be at the discretion of the program supervisor and Director of Special Education and Student Services.

 

Terms of employment:

3.5 hours per day; 8:45am-12:15am; additional weekly staff meetings before or after the work day as scheduled by the Supervisor.

Training Dates= June 26, 2024 and June 27, 2024, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Program Dates= July 7, 2024 through August 1, 2024 Monday through Thursday.
