Qualifications:

Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.

Must enjoy working with children.

Must be considered highly qualified in the state of PA by completing at least one of the listed requirements below:

    a. Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study (48 credits) or
    b. Possess an associated degree or higher or
    c. Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment (Paraeducator Credential of Competence).

 

Description:

The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community.  The position will work supporting students with special needs during drama activities before or after school/weekends during the school year.   

 

Terms of employment:

Part-time position after school and weekend hours during the school year.

     1. Current employer; and
     2. All former employers that were school entities; and
